Become a VolunteerWe hereby appeal to kind-hearted people to contribute towards the installation of a solar system for our children's home. We have children from the ages of four months to thirteen years old.
The home is in a village in the outskirts of Asokoro, Abuja FCT. There is acute shortage of electricity in the village and it is affecting the welfare and wellbeing of the children as we are having to resort to lamps.
The children are unable to make use of their electrical gadgets such as computers, games and television. At night it gets really hot and uncomfortable because of lack of electricity to power the cooling fans. We are unable to store food in fridge/freezer because of lack of electricity.
A solar system with panels and batteries will cost $5,000 (five thousand US Dollars). We hope you will help bring light to the life of our children.
We believe that children thrive within a loving and secure family, therefore until they are legally placed within a family, we are their family.
All our children have access to physical and emotional care, quality education, health care and security to prepare them for a bright future.
We can help you. You have a choice. Contact us and we will get in touch with you in strict confidence. You are not alone. We care.
