Who We Are

Cherryfields Children's Home is run by the Adedoyin Adefuye Foundation, founded in 2010. We are a non-profit charity organisation dedicated to the care and protection of Nigeria's most vulnerable children.

We provide shelter to abandoned, abused, orphaned and neglected children from birth onwards. We provide a safe haven for these vulnerable children who are referred to us by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).

Cherryfields Children's Home opened in January 2021 and is located in Zone C, Kpaduma, on the outskirts of Asokoro, Abuja FCT.

We Believe We Can Save More Lives
With Your Support

To ensure that every vulnerable Nigerian child is protected and supported to access basic needs such as a secure home, food, clothing, education, health care and freedom to enjoy a happy childhood.

Poverty is widespread in Nigeria and a lot of children live below the poverty line. Economic upheaval and insecurity have had damaging social effects. Poverty and the large-scale migration from rural to urban areas have led to a breakdown in family life and increased the vulnerability of children.
